About Disrubik

An independent research publication on Indonesian economic and industrial policy. We turn economic developments into decision-useful intelligence.

Editorial standards

Every claim we publish must be traceable to its source: official statistics, government documents, company reports, academic research or industry data. A number without a source does not clear editing.

We separate reporting, analysis and judgement explicitly. The Analyst View section of every premium piece is marked apart so a reader always knows where reporting ends and judgement begins.

Research assumptions are stated in the Methodology section. Where a figure is an estimate, we call it an estimate.

Corrections policy

Factual errors are corrected as soon as we know about them, and the correction is recorded on the article with its date. We do not quietly remove work that turned out to be wrong.

Send correction requests through the contact channel below. Include the article link and the source you believe is correct.

Masthead

Disrubik is written by specialist contributors in their own fields — sector analysts, economists and industry practitioners — with central editing to hold the standard and the voice steady.

Every writer has a profile page listing their expertise and affiliation.

Disclaimer

All analysis and research on this site is informational. It is not investment advice, not a recommendation to buy or sell any financial instrument, and it is not prepared with any individual reader’s circumstances in mind.

Projections and scenarios reflect the research desk’s judgement on the date of publication and may change without notice.

Privacy policy

We collect as little as we can: an email address for the newsletter and for accounts, and reading statistics to understand which research is useful.

Reading statistics are measured in-house rather than through a third-party service. We set no tracking cookie and store no IP address. To count unique readers, the IP address and browser type are turned into a one-way code that changes every day — it cannot be turned back into your identity, and cannot follow you from one day to the next.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we record nothing.

Personal data is processed in line with Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law. We do not sell reader data to third parties.
